About Course

Microlearning works when a short learning experience has a specific purpose. Learn to choose suitable topics, keep explanations focused, and include practice that supports recall or action. The course distinguishes useful short learning from simply cutting a long presentation into smaller pieces.

Follow a beginner-friendly path through five modules and 15 lesson outlines. Each lesson identifies three focused study topics, helping you connect the ideas to practical decisions in your own setting.

Course Project: Create a three-part microlearning sequence with one focused outcome per part, a storyboard, practice prompts, and a follow-up plan.

What Will You Learn?

  • Identify when a short learning experience is appropriate.
  • Define a precise outcome and select only relevant content.
  • Choose a format and storyboard an accessible short lesson.
  • Use short practice and follow-up to support learning.
  • Evaluate a microlearning sequence and improve it.
